We run your returns. You run your orders.
We're a UK returns partner for fashion and retail brands. Every item that comes back is inspected, graded, photographed and tracked through FMUK-ros, our own returns system, so sellable stock can get back on sale while it's still in season. You can see all of it in your portal.
Working with a 3PL? We partner with them too.
Returns are a different job from orders.
Orders are measured in minutes. Returns get done when there's time, and at peak there isn't any. They need bench space, trained eyes and a record for every item, not pick-and-pack speed.
Most warehouses treat returns as an interruption. We treat them as the whole job.
Pallets stack up ungraded
Returned stock waits against a back wall while everyone works outbound, and it loses value every day it sits there.
Nobody can say what came back
Without a record for each item, you can't see what was returned, what condition it's in or why it came back.
Spreadsheets fill the gaps
Grading lives in one place, stock in another and reports in a third. Things get lost between them.
What we handle
Everything that happens after your customer sends it back, under one roof and in one system.
Ask about pricingReturns intake
Every parcel is scanned in on arrival and matched to your returns notice, so nothing goes missing between the dock and the bench.
Inspection and grading
Each item is checked against the grading standards we agree with you and graded A, B or C, so you always know what you have and what it's worth.
Photography and condition reports
Graded items are photographed, so you can make decisions remotely, quickly and with confidence.
Refurbishment and repackaging
We bring stock back to sellable condition: cleaned up, rebagged, relabelled and ready to go.
Storage
Secure, organised storage with live stock levels, and ageing you can check in your portal at any time.
Restock and dispatch
When you ask for stock back, we pick it, pack it and send it to you or to your sales channels, logged item by item.
Disposal and recycling
Responsible handling for stock that can't be recovered, always with your approval and a full audit trail.
How a return moves through FMUK
From the moment it's on its way back to the moment it's on sale again.
- 1
You tell us what's coming
Send your returns notices from your portal, or upload them as a spreadsheet, so we know what to expect before it lands.
Shopify and WooCommerce: on our roadmap - 2
We receive it
Every box is scanned in at goods-in and logged against your account, parcel by parcel.
- 3
We inspect, grade and photograph
At the processing bench each item is scanned, checked, graded and photographed, and its record updates as we go.
- 4
You decide
Items that need a call appear in your portal with photos and our recommendation. Back to stock, back to you, disposal, or on hold while you ask us a question: one click each.
- 5
It goes back on sale
Stock you want back is picked, packed and sent when you request it in your portal, with a dispatch note for every shipment.
Every disposal is a human decision
If an item is waiting on your decision, we follow up so it never just sits there. Nothing is ever disposed of by an automatic rule.
- Day 5We let you know it's waiting
- Day 15We remind you and copy in our operations manager
- Day 30Our operations manager steps in personally
One system, from the dock door to dispatch
Most warehouses run on two or three systems stitched together: a WMS here, a grading spreadsheet there, reports somewhere else. Data gets lost in the gaps.
We built FMUK-ros so that receiving, grading, storage, dispatch, billing and your portal all run on a single record for every item.
Live today. Everything below works in FMUK-ros now, and we'll show you any of it. The one roadmap item is marked.
Your own portal
Live stock, grades and item photos, whenever you want to look.
Decisions with the photos in front of you
Back to stock, back to you, disposal or on hold. Nothing is disposed of without your approval.
Storage ageing at a glance
Stock is colour-coded by how long it's been with us, so nothing quietly turns into a write-off.
Connects to your systems
RoadmapSpreadsheet imports and CSV exports work from day one. Shopify, WooCommerce and a feed for your own WMS are on our roadmap. Tell us what you use.
Invoices you can check
Every charge traces back to a logged task, item by item.
A full audit trail
Every scan, grade and decision is recorded with who did it and when.
Built for the brands that feel returns hardest
Fashion and apparel
Customers order two sizes and send one back. We handle the volume, keep garments to your standard and get returned stock back on sale fast.
Retail and e-commerce
Selling online brings returns most teams aren't set up to run in-house. We run the back end so your team can stay focused on the front end.
Brands and suppliers
Whether you sell direct or handle returns from retailers, you get the process, the people and the reporting without building it yourself.
Start with a pilot
What a pilot looks like
One brand, 8 to 12 weeks, and a clear exit if it isn't working for you. You see every item in your portal from the first day.
Week 1
Your process and grading rules
We map how your returns arrive today and agree what Grade A, B and C mean for your stock. Those rules go into your portal.
Week 2
Setup
Your products are loaded, your team gets portal logins, and we test your first returns notices together.
Weeks 3 to 10
Live pilot
Your returns come to us. You follow every item in your portal and make the calls that need you.
Final review
Results and a decision
We go through the numbers with you: what came back, how fast it moved and how much went back on sale. Then you decide.
We take returns off your floor
Returns need bench space and skilled grading, not pick-and-pack speed, and every hour spent on them is an hour taken from the outbound work your clients measure you on. We work as your returns partner, at peak or all year round.
Talk to us about a pilotYou keep the client
We won't approach your clients, and we put that in writing in our agreement with you.
We work behind you
Your client deals with you. We report to you, and you see every item in your portal.
Start with one brand
Run a pilot with a single brand for 8 to 12 weeks, with a clear exit if it isn't working for you.
Live records, no chasing
Every item is tracked and photographed in FMUK-ros, so the updates are there when you need them.
Questions buyers ask us
The straight answers
How quickly do you process returns?
We agree a turnaround target with you before the pilot starts, and you can watch every item move in your portal.
Can you use our own grading rules?
Yes. You can write your own Grade A, B and C rules in your portal, or start from ours, and the bench works to whichever applies to your stock.
Which systems do you connect to?
Today: your portal, spreadsheet imports and CSV exports. On our roadmap: Shopify, WooCommerce and a feed for your own WMS.
What does it cost to start?
Tell us roughly what you sell and how many returns you handle, and we'll send you a price for a pilot.
New company. Not new to returns.
We've run returns floors. We've watched forty pallets of returns stack up against a back wall in December while everyone worked on outbound, because nobody had a system for them.
So we started FMUK, and we built the system. We're a small team on purpose: you deal with the founders directly, and every account gets our personal attention.

Handle every return like it matters, because to your business, it does.
Tell us about your returns
A rough idea of what you sell and how many returns you handle is plenty to start with. We'll come back to you personally.
